The Granton school board is engaging in a little sign swap. There are major conference realignments planned for next year that will move Granton to the Cloverbelt West from the Marawood South.
Meanwhile, Northland Lutheran is moving to the Marawood South from the Marawood North.
Granton Superintendent Rick Rehm says Northland Lutheran contacted them about the signs that hang in the fieldhouse representing the name and mascot of the Marawood teams. Granton agreed to sell the 4'X4' signs at $95 a piece for a total of $1,050, which equals the estimate they received to purchase new signs for the Cloverbelt Conference teams.
Next year, Granton will be in the conference with Augusta (197) Granton (94) Greenwood (155) Loyal (229) Marshfield Columbus (153) Neillsville (428) Owen-Withee (203) and Spencer (245).
