Reminder: Wood County Law Enforcement Holding Drug Take Back Day Saturday, October 28th

Wood County Law Enforcement is holding a Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 28th.

The event is being held in partnership with Healthy People Wood County - IMPACT and Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth. I spoke with Charlie Hoogesteger, Operations Captain for the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, and he discussed the locations of the events, what you can and can’t bring, the importance of dropping off your unused or expired medications, and more.

A couple other locations being held on the 28th include at the Port Edwards Fire Department from 11am-1pm and the Town of Rome Police Department, in Adams County, from 10am-2pm. If you have any questions, you can call 715-421-8911.
