During the Wisconsin Assembly Floor Session last week, Representative Donna Rozar (R-Marshfield) honored Beth and Doug Zarnke, along with Beth’s father, Mr. Martin Wolf of Memory Lane Farm in Marshfield with a Hometown Hero Award.
Staff member Madeline Hensel attended the award ceremony as well. The Hometown Hero Award is a special program in the Wisconsin State Assembly that recognizes individuals who make a difference in their local communities.
Memory Lane Farm, a century farm, offers unique programming to children and adults in the Greater Marshfield Area that provides hands-on experiences to a wide variety of individuals.
Summer camps, equine assisted team building sessions, a petting zoo, “Christmas in the Barn”, and field trips for individuals with mental and physical challenges are only a few of the programs offered.
Representative Rozar said, “The variety of enrichment activities offered at Memory Lane Farm has proven to provide positive educational and emotional benefits. Not only are these benefits noted by program attendees, but Memory Lane Farm partners with other community organizations to donate products needed by individuals in the Marshfield area. I am proud to be able to honor Beth, Doug, and Mr. Wolf as the 69th Assembly District Hometown Hero.”
