Marshfield School Board Approves 2024-25 School Calendar, Donations, and More

The Marshfield School Board approved a handful of items at their meeting on Wednesday.

The Board approved the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar, and a proposed adjustment to a Maintenance Position. They also had the first reading of several policies and they approved retirements, resignations, and new hires.

The Board also approved FFA students’ trip to the National FFA Conference in Indianapolis. The Board also approved some donations. They approved $45,000 from Innovative Machine Specialists for the purchase of a CNC Milling Machine for the High School Technology Education Department; $500 from Paula Minder for the Food Service Angel Fund; and shelving valued at $200 from Cathy Gorst.

They also approved apparel for the Girls Basketball program valued at $3,000 from Terry and Allean Frankland; $420 for the Girls Tennis program from Brian Frye; $250 from Simplicity Credit Union for the High School Football Program;  and $900 from Main Street Marshfield for the High School Football Program.

They also received $700 from the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce for the High School Band; for Lincoln Elementary, items for the school store valued at $200 from Adam and Sarah Bissonnette; and for Madison Elementary, $1,300 from Sue Osborne to purchase books for students.
