Dora is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Dora

Age: Almost 1-Year-Old

Breed: Short-Haired

Meet Dora, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Dora and her sister had been adopted from CCHS back in February but were returned to the Shelter due to their owner's health issues. While her sister has found a new home, Dora has now been at the Shelter for over 3 months waiting to find her new family.

We really aren't sure why she's still here, so we'd like to feature her again! Dora is a sweetheart of a cat. She is almost a year old and weighs 8.8#. She is a Short-haired black and white girl and is so very pretty. She has the cutest little black nose! Dora is living in Kitty City and is the official door greeter.

She loves to meet visitors and is always the first one at the door. She loves attention and gets along well with everyone she meets. You can submit your adoption application for Dora or any of the pets at CCHS right on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have an amazing selection of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens right now, so be sure to check them all out.  You are also welcome to stop in and visit with our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Dora, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
