Three Arrested After Shots Fired in Wausau Park

(Ted Ehlen, WRN) Three people in their twenties were arrested after shots were fired at a Wausau park.

Wausau Police say a 911 dispatcher received a call Tuesday night from a woman who said she was being threatened with a firearm by a man at Marathon Park. The caller also said she were being chased by a group of people.

During the call, both the both the caller and dispatcher reportedly heard shots being fired. Police would later locate nine handgun shell casings near the park, as well as damage to the victim’s vehicle.

An investigation led to two men, ages 24 and 20, and a 20-year-old woman being arrested on charges including recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct.
