(Bob Hague, WRN) At the Capitol, more Republican pressure to remove Wisconsin’s elections administrator.
State Senate President Chris Kapenga is urging Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to move forward impeachment articles against Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe.
At the Capitol on Tuesday, commissioner Joe Czarnecki said Wolfe has the support of the 6 member commission. “I think not only do all the commissioners support the current administrator, I think the current administrator has the support of the county clerk's and municipal clerks throughout the state. And again those are the people who run the elections.”
The impeachment articles drafted last month by five Assembly Republicans are riddled with inaccurate information regarding Wolfe’s job.
Czarnecki said, “I think the current administrator has the support of the county clerk's and municipal clerks throughout the state. And again those are the people who run the elections. And I think that that's vitally important that they have confidence in the current administrator.”
A review of the impeachment articles drafted last month by five Assembly Republicans found them to be riddled with inaccurate information regarding Wolfe’s job.
