Smokie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Smokie

Age: 1-Year-Old

Breed: Short-Haired

Meet Smokie, the CCHS Pet of the Week!  Smokie came to CCHS when he had been found as a stray at the Highground. Smokie is one year old and weighs 7.5#. He is a good looking fella with a short-haired coat that's all gray. Smokie is a sweet and affectionate boy with a laid back attitude.

He loves to play with toys, as you can see in his picture. Smokie is living in Kitty City at the Shelter so he gets along with other kitties, as long as they want to play with him. He can be a bit sassy otherwise! He does have a history of being good with dogs.

If you're looking for an entertaining new friend, Smokie may be your boy! You can submit your adoption application for Smokey or any of the pets at CCHS right on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have an amazing selection of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens right now, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers!  You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Smokie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
