Former Plover Youth Pastor Sentenced for Child Sex Charges

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A former Plover youth pastor has been sentenced to prison time for child sex charges.

According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, Jordan Huffman wills serve 20 years for two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child- a child that Huffman had been asked to mentor because they had been acting out in school.

Instead, Huffman gave the child alcohol and sexually assaulted them multiple times over a three year period. The 52-year-old's sentence includes a full no-contact order with the victim and any child under the age of 18, and also restricts him from working as a pastor again.

Huffman was working in Florida at the time of his arrest last year, and is facing similar charges related to an incident in Winnebago County- that case is scheduled for sentencing later this month.
