Marshfield Teen Looking for Help to Send Him on a Elk Hunting Trip in New Mexico

(Adriana Daniel, WAOW) A teen from Marshfield is looking for help to send him on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to go elk hunting in New Mexico.

Evan Niehaus and his mom, Kimberely, have been working for three months collecting votes to send him to the big game hero contest, and so far, it has been working. Evan has made it through multiple rounds of the contest.

Now he is a part of the top 8 out of 54,000 people across the nation. According to the Niehaus family, Evan would not have made it this far in the contest if it were not for the community in central Wisconsin.

"I think if we win, it's together. We won it's not just I won, I think it's as a whole we won," Evan said. The contest runs through Thursday, October 5th. If you would like to vote, click here.
