Agrotourism, the combination of agriculture and tourism, is in full swing in Central Wisconsin.

This time of year is the peak for sales and attractions for farms, and visitors can enjoy a variety of activities for the whole family. From corn mazes and pumpkin patches to hayrides and petting zoos, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Agrotourism is a great way to learn about agriculture and where our food comes from, and it's also a lot of fun! "Fall is their largest season. It definitely brings people to the farm for those fall activities from corn mazes to pumpkin patches, so we love to see it," said Melissa Sabel, Director of Marketing for the Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Farms like Feltz's Dairy Farm and Wilke's Dairy Farm offer a variety of fall activities for visitors of all ages.

"Fall season is very busy for us we have the corn maze, the haunted maze, the pumpkins," said Ken Feltz, Owner of Feltz's Dairy Farm. "We’ve got a fun farm this year we’ve got a bunch of children’s activities so it’s a very busy season for us.” "A different type of activity it’s not like going to the movies or going to the amusement park or something like that and people just like getting out into the country,” said Doug Wilke, Owner of Wilke's Dairy Farm. So, if you're looking for a fun and unique way to spend a fall day, be sure to check out one of the many farms in Central Wisconsin that offer agrotourism activities.
