Marshfield Man Arrested for Assault

A Marshfield man was arrested after physically assaulting two people.

According to the Marshfield Police Department, around 6am on Sunday, September 17th, they received a report of a disturbance at an apartment on South Locust Avenue involving two women and a man.

When officers arrived, a 21-year-old Marshfield woman and 18-year-old Marshfield woman reported that a 20-year-old Marshfield man physically assaulted them. A short time later, the man was located hiding in an apartment and was arrested.

He was medically cleared at MMC and then transported to Wood County Jail. A request for charges will be forwarded to Wood County District Attorney's Office for two counts of Battery (one domestic related), Disorderly Conduct, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping (two counts).
