American Asphalt Paving St. Joseph's Avenue this Thursday

American Asphalt will be paving the west side lanes of St. Joseph’s Avenue this Thursday, September 21st, weather dependent.

A tact coat will be applied to the current roadway the night before paving; this tact coat sticks to vehicles and is difficult to wash off. Please plan to park your vehicle away from the construction area by 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, onto an adjacent side street.

Traffic crossing onto the west side will be allowed once the new asphalt is cool enough to drive on, generally 12-24 hours after paving is completed. Access to any driveway along the west side of St. Joesph’s Avenue will also not be allowed.

Should any issues or inclement weather arise, paving will be pushed to the next day, Friday, September 22nd. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we work to finish this project. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with the Street Division at 715-486-2081.
