ABC News Correspondent & UW-Madison Journalism School Grad Criticized for Shouting Question to Biden at Cemetery

Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 -- 3:00 PM

(Bob Hague, WRN) A UW Madison Journalism School graduate gets schooled, over a question to the President.

It happened Saturday at the Catholic church where President Joe Biden’s son Beau, and his first wife Neilia, and daughter Naomi are buried. In a since deleted post on “X”, formerly known as Twitter, ABC News White House & Congressional Reporter and Producer John R. Parkinson said (quote) “As President Biden left church, I shouted quite loudly across the cemetery, ‘Mr. President, will you pardon your son?!’

But Biden did not visibly react or acknowledge the question.” Biden has already stated he won’t pardon son Hunter on felony charges. Parkinson, a 2004 UW J-School grad, was swiftly “ratioed” - social media parlance for a highly disliked post.
