Stratford Man Arrested for Possession in Marshfield

A Stratford man was arrested during a traffic stop in Marshfield.

On Tuesday, September 12th, around 8:50am, a traffic stop was conducted at South Maple Avenue and East 12th Street. Marshfield K9 Officer Rika was requested to the scene and alerted to the odor of a controlled substance from within the vehicle. As a result, a 19-year-old Stratford male was arrested and later transported to the Wood County Jail after medical clearance.

A request for charges is being forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's Office for three counts of felony bail jumping, possession of a schedule II drug, possession of THC, and drug paraphernalia
