Marshfield Broadcasting to Share Mad Dog & Merrill Midwest Grill'n Series

Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 -- 12:00 PM

Marshfield Broadcasting is excited to share the Mad Dog & Merrill Midwest Grill’n® television series.

The Internationally recognized and self-proclaimed "Grillologists," Mad Dog & Merrill®, entertain and educate thousands of backyard enthusiasts every year with the finer points of grilling on America’s Favorite Grill’n Show.

The Producers Channel has undergone a recent makeover, a new look, and a new purpose with programs from local, state, and national producers. The channel is managed by the City of Marshfield Communications Department/Marshfield Broadcasting Division but is driven by local volunteers.

The channel is a place where like-minded video creators can share their work. Their best stories, their passions, their knowledge of the world. “Acquiring Midwest Grill'n with Mad Dog and Merrill past television shows we have initiative and faith that we are serving our viewer's interests,” said Mike Weigel, Producer's Channel programmer and community producer.

So, check out the series airing on Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and watch some of their first episodes on cable channel 989 and streaming on marshfieldbroadcasting.com, ROKU, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire-TV Apps.

Local community programs are the bread 'n' butter of the programming, such as local church services and events in Marshfield. The channel currently features travel, cooking, entertainment, and syndicated programs from national and state public access channels.

We are most excited to be airing Mad Dog and Merrill, as many of you know them from their appearances at Maple Fall Fest in Marshfield, which is also taking place on Saturday, September 16,17, 2023.

So, please relax, sit back, and enjoy our programming. If you’re interested in being a community producer or station volunteer, please call us at 715-207-0379, we’re glad to help.

Our funding only comes from a tiny portion of local cable television fees through the City of Marshfield, so if you’re interested in helping us in any way, please reach out.
