Arpin Man Facing Homicide Charges After Asking Inmate to Kill Corrections Officers

An Arpin man is facing homicide charges for allegedly seeking out another inmate's help to kill several Wood County correctional officers.
According to court records, an inmate at the Wood County Jail approached jail staff telling them how another inmate, Jesse Hansen Schumann, was looking for help to kill at least two corrections officers.
The inmate said he wanted nothing to do with it and wanted to avoid blame if something did happen. Schumann is facing several felony charges of first degree intentional homicide.
