(Thomas Schumacher) A Weston man suspected of stalking an ex and cutting the brake lines on her vehicle is in custody after nearly four months on the run.
Jeremy Jimmerson appeared in court on Monday to waive his right to a speedy trial for multiple counts including stalking and recklessly endangering safety. Investigators say he sent threatening messages to the woman following a break-up and also threatened to interfere with her child custody procedures.
A search of the woman’s phone also turned up text messages which implied that danger would be coming her way including one that told her to have a good weekend because her Monday "would not be pretty."
Jimmerson is being held on a $25,000 bond and returns to court on September 6th to schedule further action. He has not entered a plea to the charges.
