Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Appointments and More

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several appointments at their meeting last week.

The Board approved Scott Klueckmann to the Highway Safety Committee and Chuck Rueth, William Neville, Scott Jalling, and Arlene Kodl to the Ad Hoc Human Services Committee. Those appointments were approved after the Board approved the resolution to create that committee.

The Board also approved the appraised value and disposition/sale of tax deeded properties. The Board also approved the County’s participation in the Conservation Aids Program Fish and Wildlife Project. The Board also approved transfer of funds from the 2022 County budget.

The Board also approved a resolution requesting the state to revise its policy of foreign ownership of farmland. The Board also approved repurposing the Neillsville Senior Center. The Center will be repurposed to help address homelessness in the County.

Finally, the County approved the 2nd reading of the ordinance regarding renewable energy systems. The Board also heard the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission Report and the 2022 Forestry and Parks Annual Report.
