Marshfield Woman Arrested for Possession After Traffic Stop

A Marshfield woman was arrested for possession after a traffic stop this past weekend.

According to the Marshfield Police Department, on Saturday, August 19th, around 9:25am, a traffic stop was conducted at Peach Avenue and Doege Street. K9 Rika was requested to the scene and alerted to the odor of a controlled substance emitting from the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and a 50-year-old Marshfield female was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 3 counts of felony bail jumping. She was transported to Wood County.
