One Person Killed in One-Vehicle Accident in Trempealeau County

One person was killed in an accident and another was hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Trempealeau County on Monday.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, on August 14th, around 8:31am, a crash occurred on I-94 eastbound at mile marker 91 near Osseo. When officers arrived, they discovered the driver, a 41-year-old woman from Minnesota, had minor injuries. Her passenger, a 66-year-old woman from Minnesota, had died from the injuries she suffered.

An investigation shows the vehicle lost control during a rainstorm, left the roadway, and hit a try. The names of the women are not being released at this time and the Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
