President Biden Touts Economy Ahead of GOP Debate in Milwaukee

(Bob Hague, WRN) President Joe Biden highlighted his economic policies during a stop in Milwaukee Tuesday.
Biden spoke at Ingateam, a manufacturer of offshore wind turbines. "I'm not here to declare victory on the economy, we're not there yet. We have more work to do, but we've always had a plan at turning things around, making an America stronger and safer and more competitive.”
But state Republican Party chair Brain Schimming told FOX 6 News Biden’s failed Wisconsin families. “They cannot afford four more years of this President. It's costing more to fill up your gas tank - $1.40 a gallon more than when Joe Biden took office.”
President Biden continued, “According to Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, my plan is leading to a boom, they call a boom in manufacturing and manufacturing investment as you're seeing right here this factory. Since I took office we've attracted more than one half trillion dollars - let me say it again - one half trillion dollars in private investment in American manufacturing.”
The president’s trip came a little more than a week before Republican presidential candidates debate in Milwaukee.
