Clark County Fairest of the Fair Candidates: Amanda Durrstein

Coming up on Wednesday, August 9th, a new Clark County Fairest of the Fair Candidate will be crowned.

There are five candidates vying for the title this year. One of those candidates includes Amanda Durrstein of Greenwood. Amanda is a Greenwood High School graduate and is currently attending UW-River Falls. She is sponsored by Grassland Dairy Products.

Amanda’s goals include coming back to Clark County after her schooling is complete and opening an equestrian riding and training facility. She would also like to join the Clark County 4-H Horseman’s Board.

She is currently in FFA, UW-River Falls’ Horseman’s Association, and UW-River Falls’ Honor Society. She is also involved in Clark County 4-H activities and volunteers at the Greenwood Food Pantry.

Her hobbies include riding and training horses, reading, playing board games, and more. During her summer break, she’s working at Grassland Dairy Products and was working at McDonalds while in school.

Once again, the Clark County Fairest of the Fair coronation is being held at the Clark County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, August 9th at 7pm. The candidates will also have live radio interviews with me on 107.5 WCCN, The Rock Wednesday afternoon. And tomorrow we’ll hear about another candidate running for the Clark County Fairest of the Fair crown.
