Clark County Fairest of the Fair Candidates: Alexis Pongratz

Coming up on Wednesday, August 9th, a new Clark County Fairest of the Fair Candidate will be crowned.

There are five candidates vying for the title this year. One of those candidates includes Alexis Pongratz of Granton. Alexis is a Granton High School graduate and is currently attending Mid-State Technical College. She is sponsored by Nasonville Dairy.

Alexis has many goals including becoming a surgical technician, owning a beef farm, and doing crafts to sell at festivals like the Warrens Cranberry Festival. She is a Granton FFA Alumni member and was involved in the Granton FFA, Student Council, and several sports including volleyball, basketball, and track.

Her hobbies include sewing, panting, raising animals, gardening, cake decorating, canning foods, and more. She is currently employed at Menards in Marshfield. Once again, the Clark County Fairest of the Fair coronation is being held at the Clark County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, August 9th at 7pm.

The candidates will also have live radio interviews with me on 107.5 WCCN, The Rock Wednesday afternoon. And tomorrow we’ll hear about another candidate running for the Clark County Fairest of the Fair crown.
