New Airline at Central Wisconsin Airport Already Adding Flights to its Schedule

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) Their first flight hasn't taken off yet, but the new airline at CWA is already adding some flights to its schedule.

Avelo Airlines, which has already committed to flights from the Mosinee facility to Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays starting in October, will add a pair of Tuesday flights in late November and December to coincide with Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Avelo Spokesperson Courtney Goff said it's not uncommon for airlines to add flights around those holidays if the demand is there- adding that their bookings for the Orlando flights have been steady since the route was announced in late July.

She says Avelo will continue to monitor the traffic from CWA with an eye towards adding destinations if the demand is there.
