Funds Being Raised for Colby VFW After Fire During Chicken Fundraiser

The Colby VFW is receiving help raising funds after a fire halted their fundraising efforts during Colby Cheese Days.

During Colby Cheese Days, the Colby VFW prepares chicken, which usually sells out every year, to sell and raise funds for their organization. This year they had planned on using the funds raised to update the building by improving electrical equipment. Unfortunately, this year, a grease fire destroyed their grills and all the chicken they had prepared. 

Hearing this, a Colby resident reached out to the community asking for help. Seeing this, AbbyBank has offered to match all donations up to $200 until Friday, July 28th. So far they have raised over $600.
