Abbotsford Student Attends FCCLA National Leadership Conference

Abbotsford FCCLA proudly represented their school and community at the highly anticipated FCCLA National Leadership Conference held at the Colorado Convention Center from July 2-6.

This annual event brought together more than 7,900 passionate Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) student members, advisers, and guests. This year's Abbotsford FCCLA attendees were Adviser Nicole Kloth-den Otter and State Officer/Competitor Esmeralda Vazquez Chacon. During the conference, Esmeralda showcased her exceptional talent and dedication by participating in various events.

She attended two sessions on State Officer Networking and State Officer Training along with being a voting delegate for Wisconsin in helping elect the National Executive Council for the 2023-24 FCCLA Year.

Esmeralda also helped run the Wisconsin State Meeting during the National Leadership Conference. On Monday of the conference she competed in Level 3 Job Interview Event and placed with a silver at the national level.
