Lodi Man Sentenced for Mistreatment of Animal

A 60-year-old Lodi man accused of bestiality has been sentenced in Marathon County Court.

Frederick Pfeffer was facing two charges of bestiality. According to court records, the state says the incident was caught on video. The man denied the claim and stated he was just trying to get the dog away. Pfeffer was ordered to have no contact with animals.

He was facing two counts of bestiality, engage in sexual contact with an animal, but, in a plea deal, Pfeffer was found guilty of three counts of intentionally mistreat animals. He was sentenced to two years of probation with an imposed and stayed jail time.
