Charges Dropped Against Owen Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Child

An Owen man charged with sexually assaulting a child had the charges against him dropped.

According to court records, back in 2019, a girl stated that Jerry Graham had assaulted her at a sleepover with Graham’s daughter. Graham told her not to tell anyone. The investigation into the incident was started again after the victim’s father asked about the status of the case.

A two-day jury trial was scheduled to begin on Thursday. However, the Clark County District Attorney dropped the charges against Graham at the request of the victim’s parents. They felt she wasn’t able to mentally handle testifying in front of Graham and strangers.
