Withee Village Board Discusses Items for O-W Police Committee Meeting

The Withee Village Board discussed some items from the recent O-W Police Committee meeting.

They’ll be meeting quarterly instead of monthly. They are also going to order dash cams to sync with their body cams. A review of their reports shows that they have answered almost as many calls in 6 months as all of last year. Also, call in pay for our DPW was approved for 2 hours at overtime rate.

They also renewed the property and liability insurance with cyber liability with League of WI municipalities insurance. They also approved the clerk to apply for a Wisconsin Election Commission Subgrant to buy a handicapped accessible booth.

The Board approved Resolution 01-07-23 Appropriations to the 2022 Budget. They will put their savings into two (2) CDs and the remainder into a Charitable Money Market Account with the O-W Ambulance as their charity at Forward Bank.

Also, Clerk Ellen Niemi received her Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk designation for meeting the education and experience requirements set by the WI Municipal Clerks Association.
