Loyal FCCLA Students Attend National Conference
Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 -- 9:00 AM
The FCCLA National Conference may be history, but, for a few Loyal School District students, the memories will last a lifetime.
It started with a flight from Appleton Airport and Parker's first air travel. Students had time at the Expo with photo opportunities in front of the cool FCCLA logo. They watched fireworks over the city of Denver and visited the Denver Aquarium on July 4, which was both educational and fun.
One of the favorite activities at the National FCCLA Conference is the trading of state pins. Students Noelle and Hope joined in the fun, with each of the girls collecting about 40 pins. Noelle hit the jackpot, scoring one from Hawaii.
As the conference wound down, awards for the competitions were presented. Both entries earned a silver award; Hope in Job Interview, and Noelle and Parker in Repurpose and Redesign. Congratulations to Hope, Noelle, and Parker on this incredible National Leadership opportunity and silver medals. They all had family members with them to enjoy their National FCCLA experience.
