Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Donates Funds From Dairy Breakfast

Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce has a long-standing history of donating a portion of each paid meal at the Neillsville Dairy Breakfast to the people that make the breakfast possible.

In appreciation for cooking the pancakes and the use of their grills, NACC donates $0.50 per paid meal to the FFA Alumni. When we have a host farm the host receives $0.25 per paid meal and they select an organization of their choice that receives $0.25 per paid meal.

Although we did not have a host farm this year the NACC Board of Directors felt it was only right to donate the money traditionally paid to the farmer and their organization to an agriculture related cause in our community.

This year these funds were divided between The Tom Kren Scholarship and the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department. The Tom Kren Scholarship is administered by the FFA Alumni Association and benefits students in the community.

The money donated to the Forestry and Parks Department will help continue their efforts to improve the facilities at the fairgrounds which in turn is an investment in our youth involved in FFA and 4-H along with the adults who participate in the agricultural side of the Clark County Fair.

We appreciate the 1,588 people who braved the cool summer morning to come to our Dairy Breakfast because without you we would not be able to donate these funds to these worthy causes in our community. We are already making plans for a great 2024 dairy breakfast, hope to see you there!
