Neillsville Woman Enters Plea for Attempted Homicide

-A Neillsville woman entered a plea in Clark County Court for stabbing her ex-boyfriend.
According to her court records, back in October of 2019, Shannon Liddell stabbed her ex-boyfriend after she caught him with another woman. Liddell believed she and her ex-boyfriend were married because they had performed a pagean ritual called handfasting. Liddell stabbed her ex-boyfriend and the woman that he was with.
During her court appearance on Thursday, she pleaded guilty to 1st degree intentional homicide. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She’s scheduled for sentencing on March 10th.
