City of Marshfield Beginning Construction Project on E. Edison Street & N. Vine Ave.

The City of Marshfield will be starting the Construction project on E. Edison St. from N. Cedar Ave. to N. Becker Rd. & N. Vine Ave. from E. Edison St. to E. Doege St. the morning of July 10th, 2023.

The work performed will begin with sanitary sewer and water main replacement by the Street Division and Marshfield Utilities. Once all underground work is completed the Street Division will ditch/tile and prep the above roads for a new asphalt surface.

It is anticipated to allow 8 weeks for the completion of the work and could change a bit depending on American Asphalts. During this process E. Edison St. & N. Vine Ave. will be closed to all traffic.

Parking for residents affected from the closure will be allowed on side streets but please be aware to leave enough room to allow access to construction crews and dump trucks. Normal work hours will be 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday thru Thursday.

Temporary garbage and recycling dumpsters will be available and will begin use on the week of July 10th.
