Two People Arrested at Wisconsin Rapids Hotel

Two people were arrested at a hotel in Wisconsin Rapids.

According to the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, around 11:30am on Tuesday, they received a report of a disturbance at the Rapids Inn & Suites. A witness stated a man was in the parking lot waving a gun and acting erratic. When police arrived, he went inside his room. Police made contact with the man and he was arrested on outstanding warrants.

A woman was also arrested on outstanding warrants. The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department received assistance from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Port Edwards Police Department and the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department.
