Marshfield Insurance Purchases Simplicity Credit Union's Original Neillsville Location

With construction of their new branch building well underway and a plan to be open in the new location this fall, Simplicity CU is pleased to announce the sale of their current Neillsville office to Marshfield Insurance.

The building, located at 113 W. Division Street, Neillsville, was previously a family home. It was purchased by Simplicity CU, renovated into a small branch, and opened for business in May of 2019. “This will always be our first home in Neillsville.” said Lori Buffington, Neillsville Branch Manager. “And we’re happy that a great local partner like Marshfield Insurance will be moving in to serve the community.”

Simplicity announced their plans for a new and larger branch building in 2022. It will feature a larger lobby, more space for the lending team, and a drive-thru that will improve the flow of branch traffic and give members improved accessibility. Construction of the new Simplicity branch is currently underway, and the opening of that branch and the Marshfield Insurance office in Neillsville are planned for fall of 2023.
