Daphne is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Daphne

Age: 9-Months-Old

Breed: Gray, Short-Haired

Meet Daphne, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Daphne came to CCHS when she was found as a stray in the Neillsville area. She is a very pretty and sweet girl! Daphne is about 9 months old and weighs 6.3#. She has a plush solid gray short-haired coat with beautiful eyes.

Daphne is very friendly and outgoing. She enjoys making new friends and promises to share all of her love with her new family. She's young enough to enjoy lots of playtime followed by lots of snuggles, too. She could be the perfect addition to your heart and home!

She's all ready to be adopted, so you can submit your adoption application for Daphne (or any of the pets at CCHS) on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have an amazing selection of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens right now, so be sure to check them all out!

Freeday Friday is back!! On Friday, July 7th, Freeday Friday will be held at our original CC Resale Store. It's located at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office. This is our “inconvenience store”.

We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why?........cuz it’s all FREE! That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up.

It’s all free! We call it Freeday Friday and it’s July 7th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. See you then!! All of us at CCHS wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July Holiday!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Daphne, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
