AREA FARMER GETS STATE HELP

An area farmer will be getting some help from the state.Governor Jim Doyle has announced that four dairy farms and one rural business will receive $275,500 in loans from the Department of Commerce Rural Economic Development Milk Volume Production Program.
Phillip Ruzic of Greenwood will receive a $25,000 loan to modernize his dairy operation.
All Wisconsin dairy producers, both existing and start-up, are eligible to apply for the MVP Program.
