Person Killed in Two Vehicle Crash in Black River Falls Identified

One person was killed in a two vehicle crash near Black River Falls Sunday night.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on I-94 near Black River Falls around 6:30pm. The driver and two passengers from one of the vehicles were taken to the Black River Falls Memorial Hospital.

The passenger that died was identified as 47-year-old Elivira Palomec from Chicago. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
