POLL: WISCONSINITES PESSIMISTIC ABOUT ECONOMY

A new poll shows that Wisconsin residents are pessimistic about the economy both in the state and nationally.The University of Wisconsin Survey Center Badger Poll shows that 48% of respondents believe the national economy will get worse in the next year. Only 12% expect it to improve.
Forty-one percent say they think the state's economy is currently in "bad times," while 34% said it was in "good times."
And 60% say they do not expect a change in the state's economy over the next year.
The poll of 507 people was conducted between Nov. 27 and Dec. 5 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4%age points.
