Suzie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Suzie

Age: 3-Years-Old

Breed: Pit Mix

Meet Suzie, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Suzie is a 3-year old Pit mix who weighs about 64#. She has a short-haired black and white coat with some cute speckles on her legs. Suzie is a very sweet girl, affectionate and lovable.

She would prefer to be the only pet in her new home, as she doesn't want to share the love and kitties are fun to chase! She is kennel trained for nighttime, and is quiet then. Suzie is a bit of a stubborn girl who would do well with some leash training.

She would also do well with older children in the home, as she is a strong girl. But Suzie just wants to find her new family that she can love forever. You can submit your adoption application for Suzie (or any of the pets at CCHS) on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.  We have an amazing selection of dogs and puppies right now, so be sure to check them all out!

Would you ever think that your old shoes could help CCHS pay for a well water pump? Well they can! Our team is participating in a fundraiser with funds2orgs.com. We are looking for community members to help us by collecting gently worn, used and new shoes.

These shoes will help support our program as well as individuals in developing nations like Ghana, Haiti and Cambodia. Shoes can be dropped off at CCHS when we're open or can be left outside the front door at any time. CC Resale (815 Hewett St) in Neillsville is also a collection point and shoes can be left there between 9:30 am - 11:30 am on Saturday's. Thank you for helping!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Suzie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
