Florida Man Sentenced for Burglaries in Eau Claire and Osseo

One of three men from Florida facing charges for breaking into vehicles, stealing items, and using credit cards in Eau Claire and Osseo appeared in Trempealeau County Court.

According to the Osseo Police Department, the three men, identified as Alexander Barnum, Treyvon Boyd, and Izell Jeff, allegedly smashed windows of three vehicles that were parked near the Eau Claire YMCA on Sunday.

Personal items were stolen and credit cards were used to purchase $4,500 in Visa gift cards. All three men were arrested after being found together in a vehicle in Trempealeau County. Alexander Barnum appeared in court on Tuesday.

Barnum was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, misappropriate ID info, possession of burglarious tools, and entry into a locked vehicle. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to four years probation with a condition of eight months jail time.

Boyd was scheduled to be back in court next week. An arrest warrant has been issued for Jeff.
