Black River Falls Man Sentenced for Possession

One of 5 arrested as part of a drug bust in Jackson County was sentenced in Jackson County Court.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, on March 24th of last year, they executed a search warrant at a home in an area northeast of Black River Falls. The case did involve a drug endangered child and drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the home.

One of the five arrested was Jonathan Goetzke of Black River Falls. Goetzke pleaded guilty to possession with intent heroin. Another charge was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion. He was sentenced to two years in state prison and five years of extended supervision.
