Phillips-Medisize Announces Layoffs

(Tom Schumacher, WSAU) Phillips-Medisize is announcing plans to layoff around 80 employees.

It's the end of an era as Phillips-Medisize say they will lay off 83 employees, with 46 receiving notices that their jobs will end as of August 7. The business announced in August 2022 that it would close the Medford location and move production to Phillips.

Less than 25% of the workforce has since been affected. Phillips-Medisize expanded from the Phillips area to Medford back in the early 70s.
