Street Closures in Marshfield for Dairy Fest Celebration

Summer officially begins on June 21, but in Marshfield, summer kicks-off with the annual Dairy Fest celebration beginning Thursday, June 1, with a ceremonial start of the water fountain in Wenzel Plaza.

To keep everyone safe and having fun, the City of Marshfield Streets Division will close some area streets to traffic for the annual celebration:

  • Blodgett between Chestnut and Walnut,
  • Chestnut between Arnold and Blodgett,
  • And Walnut between Arnold and Chestnut.

The following streets will be closed on Saturday, June 3, for the Dairy Fest Parade and downtown activities:

  • Central Avenue, from Veterans Parkway to 14th Street, will be closed to traffic at approximately 7:30 a.m., and will reopen following the parade on Saturday, June 3.

Following the parade:

  • Chestnut will be closed from West 4th Street to West 2nd Street,
  • West 2nd Street from Central Avenue to Chestnut Street,
  • West 3rd Street from Central Avenue to Walnut Street,
  • And West 3rd Street from Central to Chestnut will also be closed for activities.
