A Cadott woman arrested for drug charges was sentenced in Eau Claire County Court on Friday.
Back in February of 2021, the Augusta K9 unit was called to the Kwik Trip on Otter Road due to suspicious activity. The K9 found heroin meth, cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, prescription medications, marijuana wax, and distribution supplies. Jacob Restad and Amber Jacobson were arrested for the incident.
Jacobson was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession with intent to deliver-heroin, possession of cocaine, operating a motor vehicle while revoked, and misdemeanor retail theft.
Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 2.5 years of probation, with a condition of 180 days jail time. All but 30 days were stayed pending further order for the court.
However, she was given the option to serve 30 of those days by performing 240 hours of community service, which she chose to do. Back in June of last year, the man arrested in this case, Jacob Restad, was sentenced to 6 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.
