Stanley Police Department Looking for Information Regarding Graffiti in Chapman Park
Friday, May 26th, 2023 -- 2:01 PM
In the last few days, the Stanley Police Department learned of city property that has been defaced within Chapman Park.
These deliberate acts frustrate the responsible and caring individuals that utilize these public facilities and they want to make sure that those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
They can certainly respect a love for art and creativity, however marking and damaging the property of another is a crime. Many upgrades and improvements have been made to all three of their city parks over the years.
They are grateful for the city employees that work to maintain these properties as well as all the community groups, civic organizations, and volunteers that have contributed to all the improvements that are now available for all to enjoy.
If anyone has any information regarding the graffiti, the Stanley Police Department would love to hear from you. You can message them privately or contact Chippewa County Crime Stoppers at 715-944-3949 or at www.chippewacountycrimestoppers.org. As always, you can remain anonymous.
