Thorp Family Welcomes Placement of Bench Honoring Family Member

On Wednesday, May 24th Chad and Gracie Hauser, along with Paisley and Rory Potaczek, gathered on the Thorp Elementary School playground for the placement of the Buddy Bench honoring their wife, mother, and aunt, Mandy Hauser.

Mandy was a longtime member of the Thorp Elementary staff who passed away last August. The Middle School Student Council organized a Penny War to earn money for the bench.

An extra $100 was also raised and donated to the Thorp Crisis Fund in Mandy's memory.
