Neillsville Students Nominated at State Solo & Ensemble Festival for Exemplary Performance Award

Congratulations to Neillsville’s Jackson H. (Musical Theater Solo) and HS Triple Trio (McKenna D., Lainey H., Olivia K., Kayleigh K., Gianna K., Abigail M., Callee M., Victoria R., Ellie W.).

They were nominated by their judges at the State Solo & Ensemble Festival for the Exemplary Performance Award. At the festival, "throughout the day, adjudicators have an opportunity to nominate students whose performance was truly exceptional, beyond what is typically expected for this age group."

Each judge can give this award to the top two events. There were 822 events nominated out of approximately 11,000 performances for the Exemplary Performance recognition at the 11 State Festival sites.

This special recognition began in 2016 and there has never been any students from Neillsville nominated for this award, until now Most of the winners are from the Division 1 schools in the state.
