Thorp Choir and Band Students Perform at State Solo & Ensemble

Friday, May 12th, 2023 -- 10:00 AM

This past Saturday, May 6, fifteen Thorp Choir and Band students performed in 19 events at State Solo & Ensemble at UW-Eau Claire. 

These students performed a Class A piece at our District Solo & Ensemble Festival at Thorp High School back in February and earned a rating of 1st, qualifying them to perform at State.

Gold Medal (1st):

• Vocal Solos – CJ Brandt, Daniel Mathison,  Delaine Mathison & Charity Pritchard;
• Music Theater Solos - CJ Brandt, Chloe Egge, Mackenzie Foster, Charity Pritchard, & Payton Rhyner;
• SSA Trio -  Chloe Egge,  Charity Pritchard, & Jaedyn Stratton;
• Mixed Contemporary A Cappella Ensemble - CJ Brandt, Joslyn Corbin, Chloe Egge, Amy Kotecki, Daniel Lechleitner, Preslee Lew, Daniel Mathison, Delaine Mathison, Charity Pritchard, Elizabeth Pritchard, Payton Rhyner, Raina Sivertson, Jaedyn Stratton, Payten Wicks, & Steven Williams;
• Bass Clarinet Solo – CJ Brandt.

Silver Medal (2nd):

• Vocal Solos – Payton Rhyner & Lizzy Pritchard;
• Music Theater Solos - Delaine Mathison, Lizzy Pritchard, & Jaedyn Stratton;
• SA Duet -  Chloe Egge & Jaedyn Stratton;
• SSAA Contemporary A Cappella Ensemble -  Joslyn Corbin, Chloe Egge, Amy Kotecki,  Preslee Lew,  Delaine Mathison, Charity Pritchard, Elizabeth Pritchard, Payton Rhyner, Raina Sivertson, Jaedyn Stratton, & Payten Wicks.
